Emerson AMS Optics is a cloud-ready asset performance management platform designed for industrial environments. It collects and consolidates real-time diagnostic data from field instruments, valves, and rotating equipment, providing operations and maintenance teams with actionable visibility into asset health across the entire OT infrastructure.

Deployed across refineries, chemical plants, power generation facilities and critical process industries, AMS Optics plays a central role in predictive maintenance strategies. By aggregating device-level intelligence from HART, WirelessHART and fieldbus-connected instruments, it enables early detection of degradation, reduces unplanned downtime and supports condition-based maintenance workflows. In OT environments, AMS Optics typically resides on the plant network (Level 3 of the Purdue model), where it interfaces directly with the control and instrumentation layer.
